wedding bells
Wedding bells jingling around me…
I used to get very worked out seeing friends around me getting hitched!
Well, the worries seem to lessen as the days passed (strangely!)
Maybe I and FY as step into the ‘comfort’ zone in our relationship, of cos I will not allow either of us to ‘nua’ in our relationship…. We have to keep the memento going…like exploring to the next level of our relationship…..i guess we found new focus in our careers and are working very hard on it & our relationship is like to a the stage where in our hearts we know the day will come. But just not now….. maybe we are both slower than the rest ? or getting married is not in our priority list now. Getting married is an expensive thing! Like dinner, wedding photography, suits, dresses, ang baos, florist, set up & blah blah and all the Chinese tradition stuff………….. and the most impt. Living with his family is a further step ( dun get me wrong, his family is very loving & closely knitted) but of cos its also like I be living in my family for over 25 years and now its like starting from scratch to a new environment. I cannot digest ….. I am still adjusting to my new company. And to get married is really a huge step! And setting piorties in life and its not going to be me alone, its will become us ………..
Anyway I feel so proud of my friends getting married & all the amusing proposals..
hahhahah…
One guy friend in fact drew a entire comic book and the storyline is got kidnappers such as prada, Gucci, miu miu (all designers!!) kidnap his gf, then he went to save her.so the ending is “ will u marry me?” so sweeeet right……… is so tough for a girl to reject that proposal.
Of course, I did think? How will the proposal come to me??? Hahhaha how our wedding wil be? How will my photography and dresses look like? How how how? Hahhahahah before I think to that level, I better just continue to walk thru’ this journey with him =D

overshopped..
when i quit my job, i gave myself a good reason to shopped….
when its christmas, i made an excuse to shop…
when its new year i also opt to shop…
when 313 open with the super mega Forever21 and revised new prices… i also shopped…
when zara had the sale, i opt to shopppppppp again
then now my excuse its! its going to be CNY.i need colored clothes!!!!
hehehehhehehe….. As u know, i am a super huge fan to black, navy and grey. all the side effects of working in my old job where colors are not known…. now its different, i need colors as i feel lively and happy and bring me prints!!!!
and having friends who travel so often is a extra burn in my pockets, they are so sweeeeet, to help me purchase my bags, cosmetics, clothes, shoes…….. i am such a lucky girl!!!!!! all i do is to copy photos and send them my shopping list………woohoooo…..and next week i gonna recieved my loot from HKG, all the cosmetics from Kate, Lavshuca….. and my gf is so sweet she even hunt down a super chio studded bag that featured in VIVI magazine for HKD150!!! and i was told the exchange rate is supppper good now……….1SGD to 5.5HKD………..wooohoooooooo!!! and also she also got my pretty diamonds ballets!!!!!!!!! if not, i am going for another shoe spree soonnnn, saw a pair of nude ribbon flats at Mitjit & another studded diamonds & zip rose pair at Mondo….. thou’ my last buy was a 3 inch super power ribbon purple heels from gripz…..its super comfty!!!! cos its pig skin lined, and it did not hurt at all i even walk all the way from somersert to DB ghuat.. Gosh!!!!!!!!!! i have improved so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2010
2010 is going to be a blessed year * keep fingers crossed!!!
I am so looking forward! i like my current new job and workplace. I have start to look forward and smilez… and with loads of freebies flooding my house. I love the new whitening range! Woooo…….
2010 def. came a bit fast! time really flies like zoom…… i guess this year i am going to see more people getting hitched! End Jan, will be Mandy’s wedding… so fast! I better go find a pretty dress. And Peter announced last night he finally did the proposal… bling* saw the pretty ring on Yve’s hands yday….***envious! they are getting married in Oct 2010! They planned the ROM at Shang** Woooo…………. and the wedding in 2011 and with their house on the way!
But, to me, marriage is such a big commitment. I am still happy hanging around and in our relationship.. so maybe in another 2-3 years….. Its a huge commtiment, i guess both parties have to really have a stable career and loads of savings, housing, living expenses are just way so high!!! and so much to adjust to… so I think the most important now is to have a stable relationship and build up the base!
But I am so happy for my pals! Grinz~~~~

I recommend HVV: Her Velvet Vase for summer frocks, and chiffon pieces, Modparade for quirky and essentials stuff & not forgetting bonitochico for tube dresses!
3) Watch 女人我最大 everyday Mon- Fri for style tips, hair tips, makeup & ……
I switch from BB cream back to Liquid Foundation , as I was watching this episode that Kevin say that liquid foundation will give you a more glowing/ natural radiant look & he recommended Dior- Nude Hydrating Liquid Foundation as it contains minerals & is a water based foundation. Of cos, immed.. next day I zoom down to the Dior counter & am so impressed with the texture!!!!!! its really glides & so smooth!!!! as I find my chanel lumerie liquid foundation oxides too fast.

Blessed!
After a week in Tokyo, I am refreshed! I love Tokyo! We are planning to return to Tokyo & also explore Osaka next year. In fact, I have wished that every year we can travel to Tokyo! Planning our trip & getting around in Tokyo is very easy. As all the stations are in English, you simply need to know which station & find the line out & head to the line, though there are like millions of lines in operations in one station.

My new work place is very homely, and I like it. Its likes a family & work is very organized, just need to follow SOP to get around. And plus I got my name card! And they took Polaroid of me when I came on the first day for their bulletin board. So cute! I like! Colleagues are good and nice plus I have a male boss who is definitely less control freak, and more flexible. Plus I am the youngest in the team! Wahahhahaha.. reminds me not to grow old and be 25 always!
Though I missed the people at my old workplace, we have been meeting up so often, like way to work, sometimes during lunch and after work on the way home. Its so cool! And we talk so much and see so much of each other, like I had never left! Hah! And I still get perks to attend shows, ex colleagues to shop for me in New York & HKG. I am one blessed babe!!!
I have a wedding to attend next weekend, its XFR’s friends’ wedding. I have no idea what to wear! I think I will need to grab a nice dress and match my nice pretty heels.
Time really flies, by next week its like end of Nov, and I am getting my first salary in my new work place!!!!
Dec will be coming, we have plenty of activities in Dec, including shop attachment, and also buying presents for the less fortunate children.
Resolution for 2010: Getting my 2.55 Chanel, and going back to Tokyo top my list! I need more OL clothes for now. Ha, excuse to shop for clothes!!

10 Things to Do in Tokyo
I love love love Tokyo!!!
I am so going back to Tokyo next year, in fact we wanted it to be a yearly trip!
1) Harajuku Station: our fav station, as there is an entire street of small tiny shops that sells clothes, accessories, food & all stuff at a lower price range. I got hair clips =D and the Daiso Flagship store is there, its like 3 levels =D and we found a stretch of international labels, you will find H&M, F21, Uniqlo and Topshop and also the chic shopping place: Laoforet Building. And they sell crepes everywhere!!!!! Yummy!!And across the street, you will have Kiddy land, a 5 level toy shop ;D
2) Shinjuku Station: where i stay, is so commercialised, you have like 5 different shopping centres link together. my fav is Keio & Lumine. and streets where u can find nice & afforadable food. We found Nabantei (the same outlet in far east) that sells yummy yakitori.And our fav fav is Tokyu Hands which is link to Takashimaya. It sells like from Beauty products to household stuff.
3) Pe Pe Center @ Seibu Shinjuku Station: abt 5 mins walk from Shinjuku station. I love love the 100yen shop at Level 8. Its Cando. It sells a wider variety of products and I bought so much tibits at that stop. its crazy!!
4) Ikebukuro Station: its like your tampines mall with all major shopping center. love THE LOFT, they have a huge range of stationary products and a newer range of beauty products with lotsa of freebies and trials. and their packaging is fab!!! they will pack all ur stuff item by item. and also a great range of pet products. then cross the street i founf fab tiny clothing shops that sells cheap and chic clothes. too bad its winter. i got a dress at Yen 1050 which is only SGD16 bucks. and is its summer, i think i can buy the entire shop!!!!
5) Disneyland! its a must go!!!!! the japanese take disneyland like an excursion & dress up like the characters. so many times i wanted to take picture with Beauty and the Beast, and we realise those are not the real ones!!! they are the japanese girls that dress up like the characters! Haha!
6) Kahim makuhari Station: there is a huge outlet mall that sells Coach, OZOC and many brands at discounted prices!!
7) Buy lotsa of Beauty products fromt he drugstores!! I bought so many nail polishes, eye shadows, loose powder, eye liner, and hand creams!
‘8) Buy Bath salts and soak! cos in Tokyo, we walk so so much from station to the shopping center and everywhere!!! and the bath salts help to relax the muscles!
9) Go to any department store basements to eat the cakes! the cake selection is amazing!!!!! and all so delicious & pretty!
10) Go to the airport early as you can buy souvenirs, and traditional food/pastry at tax free prices. and eat the meal in the sushi cafe before flying off…. yummy!

our long vacation
its not like a long vacation, just its a long waited vacation. we have been talking abt going for holiday since 2 years ago….
every year i pray we will be going for a holiday. Finally! we are really going for a holiday!!!!!!! Woo hoo!!!
We are heading to Tokyo in early nov before I start a fresh!
I cant wait to go to Tokyo & breathe the air in Japan……….Wooooooooo! and say high to Mt Fuji! And Hello Kitty stuff here i come! Woo hoo….. and so much things to explore =)
